100%, not 90%

“Even if I would be able to get by with a 90% effort, I owe it to myself to give 100%. If I give my full effort today, I will consider the day a success.”

Today, I will get an opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I am doing an extra fitness session today, and I want to try to be as intense as I can through both sessions. I will have two hours of fitness in the morning, then one session where we will do drills and rallying. Then, I will have lunch break and a session where we play matches.

I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to maintain a full effort throughout the day. Even if I would be able to get by with a 90% effort, I owe it to myself to give 100%. If I give my full effort today, I will consider the day a success. When I don't feel like it, I will go back to why I need to and then activate gratitude that I can even have this opportunity.

My coaching voice will remind me that it will take giving my full effort if I want to improve and see the results that I want. Even if I hate running, it will make me a better, faster player, and a more disciplined person. I am fighting against myself to improve. No coaches matter if I am not willing to give everything to be better.
