Today, I am getting the opportunity to train with a great coach and player. We will probably do lots of drills and I want to be focused and intense. I won't see the practice as "just drills". I will recognize that this is what is best for me at this time and give my 100% effort.
I have an obligation to my parents my coaches, and to my future self to use each practice to the fullest. Every day is an opportunity to get better and I am lucky that I am with coaches that will make this process as efficient as possible.
My coaching voice will remind me that I will not be able to control my emotions if I get frustrated during practice. It is important that I stay locked in an emotionally neutral or positive when I am training.
