Today, I will get the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I have a tournament tomorrow, but that doesn't bother me too much. I am not concerned about one tournament. Tomorrow is just an opportunity to practice my tennis and my mental training under pressure in the tournament.
I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to play freely and not put too much pressure on myself. I have played well the past two days because I played freely. I want to make sure that I will play with confidence because I know that this is just another opportunity to practice my mental calmness under pressure. I will just try not to think too much about the tournament and train as if it were just another day.
My coaching voice will remind me that enjoyment is what makes playing well possible for me. By thinking in context of fun, my fear will all go away. It is a mark of a skilled competitor to respond positively when things turn against us when bad things happen.
