Today, I will get the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I will have two sessions. In the morning we will do drills, and in the afternoon, we will do some matchplay. Today, I want to work on playing to have fun. I am probably going to play M. again today, and I want to enjoy it and not be so focused on the score. I always play better when I am having fun and not worrying too much about whether I win or lose.

I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to practice playing with confidence and sticking to a plan. It doesn't really matter how I play today, but it does matter what my intentions are. I am going to activate enthusiasm while I play by taking deep breaths if I am nervous, being positive when I play a good point, and by keeping confident body language in between points.

My coaching voice will remind me that enjoyment is what makes playing well possible for me. I can find enjoyment in trying to overcome frustrating tasks. Finally, I am performing against myself. It is in my control how I write the narrative, and how much I fight.
