Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I will have two sessions. In the morning, we will do drills and might do some live-ball, and in the afternoon, we will do matchplay. Today, I am sore, so I predict that I might get frustrated if I am not hitting well. This is the time to separate myself and become mentally tough. Anyone can be positive on a regular day. I will work harder today without complaining.

I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to stay positive and stay intense regardless of how my body feels. I will activate calmness when I am frustrated by taking slow, deep, breaths. I will push through what I am feeling because I know that this is how I can become mentally tough.

My coaching voice will remind me that I can have fun no matter how difficult the task is. I am performing against myself. It is only up to me of how hard I push myself. I am learning to love problems and to thrive on tough times. I am learning to be a great fighter.
