Today, I am getting the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I am going to try to mimic the same level of engagement today as I had yesterday. I should try to match that intensity every day regardless of who I am playing with. My intensity determines my improvement more than who I'm hitting with.
I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to appreciate this opportunity - not only if I get to play with the older kids, but anytime I am getting to play tennis. I will not take it for granted. I will do every drill with full intensity as if its the last one.
My coaching voice will remind me that I have to learn to love the battle. I will not complain. I will find my own sense of enjoyment in doing what I wanted to do and knowing that I am doing everything to get better as fast as possible.
