Today, I am getting the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I will maintain a high level of intensity while I am on court, like yesterday. Just like every day, it is supposed to rain. It looks like it will rain all day starting at 12:00, so my morning session will be very important. I will recognize when I am not on route, and I will immediately try to focus back in and push to the higher intensity as if I was playing with the older kids.
I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to not let my B.G.A.T. to convince me to do just enough to get by. I have to work harder than normal, otherwise I will have normal results.
My coaching voice will remind me that I am in control of my response to situations. I will not fall to the level of my surroundings. I will actively work to push past that level. While the coaches will try to push me, I am in control of myself.
