Today, I am getting the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. Once again, I am feeling very tired. Since it rained yesterday, we had to go to the soccer field and do sprints. It is Friday today, so the fitness will probably be lighter. Since I don't have a tournament this weekend, I am still going to push myself hard. This is not something I am forced to do. I am blessed with this opportunity to improve myself, and it is my fault only if I don't.
I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to not view this as work. I am grateful that I can do this, fitness included, and I will make the most out of my time.
My coaching voice will remind me that improvement is a process. It will not be a straightforward path. It will hurt and it will be tough, but I have to anticipate that and perservere.
