Today, I am getting the opportunity to train with amazing coaches and players. I want to practice being focused and intense regardless of who I play with. When I play with higher rated players, I am always on route, but when I play lower players, I can be careless.
I have an obligation to my parents, my coaches, and my future self to be intrinsically motivated and not encouraged to work hard based on who is on the other side of the net.
My coaching voice will remind me enjoyment makes playing well possible for me. I shouldn't only enjoy playing better players, because that is not all I will ever play. I will enjoy the day because I love the sport.
