Today, I am playing a tournament. This is my first tournament since July, but I want to make sure that I remember that this is not the deciding match of my life. While I will definitely try my hardest to win, I will not play in fear of losing. I will be confident and stick to my game. When I get nervous, I will remember that this is just one of many tennis tournaments. The only way that playing this turnament would not be productive is if I self-destruct and get scared to attack the ball. My opponent is very fast, so I will not get frustrated if he is getting to balls that I hit that would normally be winners. I may need to come to the net to finish points, and I am okay with that. I have been practicing my transition a lot and I am ready to put it to use in a tournament.
